Abstract

The pediatric nurse¢¥s role, developed in response to a need for additional health care providers, requires the different educational programs that prepare nurses for NP practice.

This article developed an accreditation criteria and a model of curriculum for PNP educational program. The criteria focus on curriculum goals, curriculum, faculty, clinical resources/experiences and evaluation. The curriculum designates 4 semester, 33 credits of graduate core 10 credits, PNP core 10 credits and practicum 10 credits.

The curriculum that was proposed in the study will be a model of PNP educational program and promotes ongoing reflection on the educational product.
